Solutions and Mining Laboratory is specialized in performing geotechnical tests and analyzing the geological information needed by civil engineers and architects who serve in the areas of infrastructure design for the construction industry. Field testing methods are used for the determination of the engineering behavior of soils and rocks to obtain good quality disturbed/undisturbed samples for laboratory tests. There are various in situ tests which are used frequently for the determination of the values of engineering design parameters. The techniques used include penetration tests, shear strength tests, loading tests, pressuremeter tests and permeability tests as well as geophysical methods. We provide independent and comprehensive advice for various engineering projects and develop innovative design of solutions with a focus on the specific requirements of our customers.
Our laboratory tests cover a wide range of road and pavement materials testing. The laboratory also conducts extensive asphalt testing to verify the quality of the material used by taking samples from the site to be tested in the laboratory.
